Three distinct visions, coalescing to stir a feeling and attitude—a way of being, unlocking the gesture and sensibility inherent in the collection. An unspoken language with an irreverent clash of couture and the street, the divine and dirty; Italian elegance with an outrageous impulse.
It’s a continuation of an approach that began in September, with Versace Embodied, seeing the House collaborate with cultural forces, bringing body to their uncompromising expression. A dialogue invoking the fundamental essence of Versace: the confronting glamour of Steven Meisel, the raw intimacy of Frank Lebon, and the cinematic power of Tania Franco Klein.
Each person, behind and in front of the camera, is united by an intensity of feeling and expression. Artists, athletes, choreographers, writers, actors, and more, including Drake Carr, Lexee Smith, Selena Forrest, and Chu Wong, among the street cast. Collectively unbound by inhibition.
