Serapian presents its Spring/Summer 2026 collection, a celebration of the Maison’s craftsmanship through vibrant colors, innovative materials, and refined techniques.

The “Sunrise of Mestieri d’Arte” collection is unveiled at Villa Mozart, Piero Portaluppi’s masterpiece and Serapian’s Milanese HQ, marking the continuation of their collaboration with British designer Bethan Laura Wood. Her previous creation for Serapian, the Mosaico Bokashi Landscape Paravent, made its debut during the Salone del Mobile in April 2025 as part of the Doppia Firma exhibition, under the patronage of the Michelangelo Foundation. It resembles a Japanese mountain landscape and was crafted by Serapian’s Bespoke atelier using hundreds of woven leather strips to recreate the subtle gradations of a sunrise and sunset.

This new collection blends Wood’s distinctive color palette with Serapian’s craftsmanship and iconic designs, emphasizing materiality, innovation, and emotional storytelling.

Wood reimagines Serapian’s Secret, Mini Secret, and Anì bags in a vibrant palette of Azure, Pink, Off-White, and Ice, blended into a Chiaroscuro pattern inspired by Japanese woodblock prints. Each bag showcases Serapian’s Mosaico technique, ensuring that every piece is one-of-a-kind. The capsule collection also features a detachable pink and white shoulder strap, designed to complement any Serapian bag, and a unisex travel bag in earthy tones such as olive green and warm brown.

“I wanted to reference the clouds, replicate their soft hues and the reflections from the sunlight and the landscape. This collection is based on a combination of Japanese wood block prints and the colors of the sky, and it was important for me to connect these inspirations with some of Serapian’s signature motifs, creating my own take on the Mosaico and the Stop & Go techniques,” Bethan Laura Wood.

“With Bethan, we wanted to continue to explore the evolution of light and color through the iconic shapes of the Secret family. The Spring/Summer 2026 collection represents a contemporary laboratory of craft, we wanted to really embed innovation into our Mosaico,” Maxime Bohé, CEO Serapian.

For the Spring/Summer 2026 collection, Serapian introduces the Maro bag, a new icon in the Alta Pelletteria collection. Named after a Serapian family member, it features a distinctive loose nappa leather strip knotted on each side and is available in maxi tote, medium tote, mini handbag, and crossbody styles.

Color and light define the season, with new shades like Indigo, Aqua, Blush, Sand, and Antique Rose omplementing Serapian classics. The Mosaico line features Mosaico Ribbon, adding a three-dimensional texture with cotton ribbons, while the Microchain series enhances luminosity with delicate metal chains.

The Secret bag is reimagined with innovative techniques: Mosaico Crochet, showcasing a refined raffia motif, and Raffia Denim, a striking combination of denim and raffia. The Canvas Chiaroscuro series is expanded with the addition of a coordinating beach towel.

For men, the Stepan collection is presented in a new cotton canvas weave in Asphalt, accented with Cachemire leather details in Off-White, Beige, and Leaf, with a rich green leather option also available.

Alongside a special exhibition by Bethan Laura Wood, the collection is presented with a scenography inspired by the microscopic details that are the building blocks of the natural world. Bethan creates a modular system evoking science models and molecular structures. These are composed into delicate plinths adorned with Pietro Viero’s sculptural Pyrex shapes and Murano’s Barbini Specchi’s ripping glass allowing the bags to appear almost floating on air. These innovative displays will first be seen in Milan, then in Serapian stores worldwide.
