For the Oscar de la Renta Spring 2025 Bridal Collection, Co-Creative Directors Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia strike a harmonious balance between grandeur and refinement achieved through mixed botanical embroideries and timeless design elements.
Captured within the backdrop of the prestigious Prospect Park Boathouse, the bridal collection radiates a splendor that mirrors the illustrious New York Beaux Arts historical landmark, erected in 1905. A mixed botanical embroidery embellishes a strapless silk faille ballgown and is also imagined as mixed botanical threadwork tendrils cascading down the skirt of a chantilly long-sleeve gown. Peony embroidery envelops a corseted ballgown with a pronounced full skirt, while a dreamy wildflower embroidery graces a fitted tulle gown.
Drawing inspiration from the Art Nouveau style showcased in Oscar de la Renta’s Fall 2024 Ready-to-Wear Collection, the bridal collection features a sinuous chrysanthemum motif that adorns a ballgown and a strapless column silhouette. A floral mosaic-inspired embroidery polishes a corseted gown with a billowing full skirt.
A strapless silk faille blooming peony dress, as well as a draped mini dress enhanced with oversized ascending bows, offer the perfect cocktail dresses to ensure the enchanting celebration seamlessly continues through the reception.
