For Oscar de la Renta Pre-Spring 2026, Co-Creative Directors Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia debuted their latest collection aside the glistening blue waters of Lake Tahoe.
Held at a private family estate directly on the lake’s iconic shoreline, the show was held in partnership with the League to Save Lake Tahoe.
Guests surrounded the beach-top runway as the sun beamed down and waves lapped at the shore.
As a mix of “Josie” by Steely Dan began, the first model emerged, dressed in an ivory foxglove guipure blouse with coordinating foxglove thread work appliqué skirt and accessorized with gold accents.
Feather, foxglove, and allium adorned ensembles manifested in knits, poplins and tweeds, followed by an assortment of bugle bead and sequin embroidered gowns that shimmered in the sunlight.
A show-stopping tuberose floral draped tulle bridal gown drifted down the runway, providing a breathtaking conclusion to the show.
Allies of Skin provided tailored facial treatments for the models, led by founder Nicolas Travis in collaboration with the brand’s lead esthetician Leyen Tran.
This experience included the brand’s cult-favorite Multi Peptides & GF (Growth Factor) Advanced Lifting Serum, which left the models skin hydrated, brightened and runway ready with a sculpted glow.
Makeup artist, Jason Leong, crafted a dewy and fresh makeup look, whilst Ron Pernell styled hair in effortless beach waves and slicked back buns.
About Oscar de la Renta ‘s Pre-Spring 2026 Collection
For the Oscar de la Renta Pre-Spring 2026 Collection, Co-Creative Directors Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia envision a vibrant garden in full bloom.
A dense meadow of foxgloves blankets the collection, adorning airy cotton poplins and lace guipures.
Cascading 3D floral appliqués, gilded leather leaves and a hand crocheted knit dress with delicate floral fringe make the garden come to life.
Blossoming alliums, dandelions, and climbing ivy, inspired by Kim’s personal garden, grace a variety of silhouettes.
The collection’s feather motifs garnish pieces throughout the collection, including as a print on a silk twill jumpsuit, a jersey knit dress, and distressed denim jacquard styles.
A tea length skirt, strapless cocktail dress, and halter neck gown, showcase threadwork with beaded and sequined accents that degradé into a vibrant plume of feathers.
As eveningwear takes center stage, a trio of allover sequin gowns in amber, sky blue and mint, are decorated with organza threadwork and feather floral appliqués.
Hero embroidery in the form of ornate mother of pearl crystal floral embroidery adorns a shift dress, capelet with matching skirt, and strapless chiffon gown.
