Mouawad celebrates the Holy Month of Ramadan

Mouawad has released a video in celebration of the Holy Month of Ramadan. Featuring a majestic falcon, the video takes us on a journey from the desert sands through the evening cityscape to the night sky above. The falcon is emblematic both of the heritage of the region and the Mouawad family seal. Engraving a seal on a stone is a tradition that began thousands of years ago, during the time of the Sumerians. Every creation of Mouawad jewellery perpetuates this tradition by bearing a signature – the maker’s mark. Often this is the Mouawad family seal, with its highly symbolic emblems of a falcon, diamond and crown, which constitutes a profound commitment – that of a whole dynasty – to crafting the extraordinary.

Mouawad Co-Guardians Fred, Alain and Pascal Mouawad said: “We know that Covid-19 has impacted all of our lives in so many ways. With the approach of this year’s Holy Month, we wanted to share a message of positivity, that even though Ramadan may feel different due to measures in place to protect our communities, the essence of this month remains the same, and its values – to unite and to do good – are where we should derive our inspiration and strength to believe in better days to come.”
