Michael Kors is excited to announce the release of a special film for Holiday 2024, directed by renowned director Bardia Zeinali.
The star-studded film, titled It’s Lit, centers on the magic of the holidays in the city, where every corner holds a new surprise, every moment sparkles with possibility, and the spirit of New York shines, all with a little downtown Michael Kors flair. The film stars sisters and models Delilah Belle Hamlin and Amelia Gray Hamlin alongside fashion legend Patricia Field, social media sensation Harry Daniels and musical comedian Morgan Jay. Model and entertainer Alton Mason also makes a cameo, as do models Sherry Shi and Nyagua Ruea. The film is set to a custom rendition of Jingle Bells, produced by artist Alex Chapman.
“There’s nothing quite like New York during the holidays,” says designer Michael Kors. “This film captures the energy, buzz and sense of community that the holiday season brings out in everyone, whether you’re a seasoned New Yorker, newcomer or just passing through.”
The video and accompanying teaser also highlight the glitz and glam of the season’s ready-to wear and accessories. Silver and gold metallics take center stage, seen on everything from sequined t-shirts and glittering, form-fitting dresses to the top-handle Lulu bag and Colby clutch. Opulent outerwear lends cozy drama to the season’s shorter hemlines, while scene-stealing, thigh-high boots create the ultimate showstopping look, and the fan-favorite Tribeca bag in a rich, ruby red becomes the perfect holiday plus-one. The campaign was styled by Gabriella Karefa-Johnson, and accompanying stills were photographed by Jared Kocka.
