For this new chapter of the series, MAX&Co. collaborates with the English designer Richard Quinn, founder of his eponymous line and awarded in 2018 the Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design. Born in 1990, graduated from Central St. Martins in London and a career already studded with successes, the designer combines in his vision technology, high craftsmanship and classic quotes.
The &Co.llaboration – MAi. – is the result of psychedelic exploration that starts from the past to point straight to the future. A crossover between the glamor of old 60’s sci-fi films and a dystopian aesthetic dominated by Artificial Intelligence.
MAX&Co. FW24 &Co.LLABORATION with RICHARD QUINN “MAi.”
The main characters of the capsule collection (FW24) are the iconic floral patterns made by the designer and declined on different silhouettes, the multiple designs with geometric patterns and the innovative materials. Richard Quinn reissues the MAX&Co. style codes translating them into sumptuous crepe de chine dresses that wink at the great French couture – his great passion – long jackets and light coats Space Age style. The palette – under the banner of color blocking – is punctuated by bright colors and black, in a succession of coordinated second leather effect in technical fabric and patent leather, maxi suit with sequined embroidery and finally the inevitable logo Tee dedicated to the Capsule.
A set of garments to mix seamlessly, in which the unmistakable imprint of Quinn appears visible in every detail, from tailoring to innovative processing, up to the great floral typical of home textiles.
The message behind the collection is an invitation to dare, playing with combinations and moods to be declined according to your own style. In the sign of uniqueness.
