Malone Souliers Co-Creative Directors Coco Fong and Valerio Bava revisit one of the original themes that shaped some of the brand’s most beloved silhouettes. The SS25 Collection draws inspiration from vintage magazines, classic billboards and cinema. Reflecting on the timeless allure of 1950s pin-up culture, we embrace old-school Hollywood glamour, burlesque and rockabilly aesthetics to evoke a flirtatious femininity while maintaining a sartorial edge.
Named after female icons of eras past, seasonal heroes are defined by striking silhouettes, dazzling embellishments and rich materials such as Nappa leather, woven raffia and lustrous satin. The collection’s details bring a modern twist to nostalgia, exemplified by the Jennifer, Erika and Eleonora closed- and open-toe cage sandals, and the Vivien clutch and Teese platform heels, adorned with glistening crystals that redefine vintage glamour.
The season’s key silhouettes radiate a refreshing summer energy. Feminine curves, glossy sculpted hairdos, and powdery rouge makeup are reimagined as acrylic flowers on the Cyd raffia mules, a patent finish on the Vivien clutch and an expressive colour palette accented with metallics. Playful patterns like polka dots and florals adorn the semi-sheer Mona and lace Noah mules, offering a tongue-in-cheek nod to the era that made fashion fun.
