In keeping with Maison Crivelli ’s other collections, the Olfactory Mysteries are inspired by Thibaud Crivelli’s personal adventures. For each creation, Thibaud shares his experiences with renowned perfumers, the ultimate aim being to encapsulate them in fragrance formulas that awaken the senses with their textures, contrasts, and originality.
This time, breaking with his previous creative approach, the Olfactory Mysteries fragrance formulas will remain completely secret. The ingredients that comprise them will not be revealed, with the exception of one main ingredient and a few key sensory facets. This unique, intriguing approach invites each individual to connect with the fragrance in a way that is intimate and personal.
Safran Secret is the first extrait de parfum in the Olfactory Mysteries collection
For this first opus, created in partnership with Givaudan perfumer Gaël Montero, Thibaud Crivelli was inspired by the memory of mysteriously discovering fields of saffron covered in a thick blanket of fog. This opaque, impenetrable, striking atmosphere led him to discover this Haute Parfumerie ingredient in an entirely new light. Concentrated at 30%, Safran Secret is built around spicy, soft, and sensual saffron, which is enveloped in natural, warm, woody notes for a delightfully powerful trail.
