Made of contrasts and vibrating with light, Luce di Rosa is Acqua di Parma’s latest creation to join the Signatures of the Sun universe, a collection where the Maison captures and reflects the complexity of precious ingredients with the unexpected prim of vibrant sophistication. A gender-neutral fragrance where the sublimation of the contemporary and dynamic rose counters mineral sharpness with a chiaroscuro effect, giving light to a multifaceted scent whose notes are reminiscent of a vibrant symphony that alternates between piano and forte, adagio and vivace.
The fragrance, sculpted by the light, opens with an invigorating citrus blend of bergamot and mandarin. This luminous start is heightened by the spicy nuances of fresh black pepper and pink pepper CO2 extract, alongside the subtle accents of cardamom, setting the stage for a sensory olfactory journey. At its heart, Luce di Rosa flourishes with the noble Rose from Bulgaria, the centerpiece of this olfactive masterpiece. This rose, renowned for its intense freshness, is complemented by the verdant geranium, creating a core that is both floral and profoundly rich. In the base, Luce di Rosa settles into a deep, grounding essence of vetiver, guaiac wood, and cedarwood, all enveloped by the soft, sensual embrace of musk nuances, crafting a finale that unveils and reflects ever-different sensations over time. The starring Bulgarian Rose is distilled from flowers harvested in the Kazanlak region of Bulgaria through a steam-water process, capturing the essence of the rose at its most vibrant. The Luce di Rosa polysensorial universe is gilded with two precious objects, the Luce Di Rosa Jewel Masterpiece Edition and Tray, designed by French jewellery designer Annelise Michelson. The gold-plated brass Luce di Rosa Jewel Masterpiece Edition features a sculptural bottle cap drawing from the imagery of fabric in motion, an homage to the fluid grace of the designer’s renowned Drapé collection. The object captures the folds of drapery caught in a perpetual breeze enshrouding the fragrance bottle, solid in its craft yet ethereal in its appearance – a juxtaposition that unveils an evanescent and captivating effect, as vibrant and filled with contrasts as the fragrance. The Tray, crafted from plating brass with gold, ripples with the contours of golden fabric captured in motion and marries practicality with art, creating a tableau that elevates the scent ritual. The tray, crafted from gold-plated brass features an undulating surface, a dance of light and texture, inviting one to indulge in the contrasting and dynamic world of Luce di Rosa, making every encounter with the fragrance a moment of pure aesthetic pleasure.
