Inspired by Mona’s love for candy and mouthwatering notes, Vanilla Candy celebrates one of the most desired notes in fragrance with its delicious blend of sweet ingredients. Notes of glazed candied pear and bubble gum playfully enhance the fruity, candy-like sweetness with a tempting vanillic explosion at the heart, magnified by warm and woody notes of tonka bean, sandalwood, and patchouli.

The Perfumer
For Vanilla Candy Rock Sugar | 42, Mona collaborated once again with dsm-Firmenich principal perfumer, Gabriela Chelariu. No stranger to the KAYALI DNA (she’s the nose behind the best-selling, Vanilla | 28 as well as the cult fav, The Wedding Silk Santal | 36), Chelariu also helped develop the brand’s Signature Accord which makes its debut in Vanilla Candy.
“The KAYALI signature accord is an affirmation of Kayali’s DNA and what makes the brand so irresistible. Working on it was very challenging but it made so much sense at the same time!” says Chelariu.
“Mona always loved the gourmand family, and it is definitely part of all the fragrances she created with KAYALI – so I worked with emblematic gourmand ingredients: Vanilla for its addictive qualities and because it is one of Mona’s favorite notes! Tonka for its warmth and depth. Musk for its incredible comforting and enveloping facets and praline for its sweetness and nuttiness,” she adds.
