With the Spring/Summer 2023 women’s collection, Santoni makes a journey in search of uniqueness and value, which is translated into the extreme eye to detail, the precious sourcing of raw materials and the advanced craftsmanship that has always been the brand’s flagship. A feminine and contemporary reinterpretation of the brand’s codes to reach an alchemy of materials, colours and shapes.
The journey begins with the iconic double buckle, the elegant leitmotif throughout the collection, which turns into a precious golden or silver plate on the calfskin loafers and becomes an ornamental pattern on the sabot mule, also available in mirror and natural lizard leather. This signature buckle undergoes further metamorphosis and becomes three-dimensional like a jewel stone: clear to give the sense of depth and ton sur ton shades; shiny as a deluxe applique; matte on the metallic leather pump designs, which makes the Santoni Woman even more glamourous and urban.
The double buckle proves to be a modest protagonist also in sandals, launched in the seasonal, vivid and bright colors, such as light blue, green and yellow. However, this brand’s mark becomes maxi, bold and determined to enrich some designs. The Double Buckle Sneaker, also available in mirror leather for this season, shows the iconic motif which has been turned into a more contemporary, contrasting graphic and modern detail. The collection is completed by the new bags, also recognizable by the iconic double buckle proposed in an elegant and refined version on city bags, firm clutches and shoppers.
The alchemy of materials and shapes is also reflected in the colours: onyx, amber and rose quartz. Just like precious stones, the seasonal nuances take inspiration from the world of jewellery, a profound artisanal universe worth discovering.
