– Cara Luna, a new locally-sourced women’s luxury line of apparel, launches its debut collection of seven timeless and feminine pieces in the UAE. Created by the German supermodel and author of ‘Flawless – The Model Bible’, Aline Cara Luna, the contemporary brand is about to pave its way to the top of the global glamour scene.
Cara Luna’s elegant collection consists of dresses and co-ords varying in sizes and shades, suitable for the stylish lady. Proudly designed and produced by a woman, for women, Cara Luna’s mission is to create classic pieces for everyday wear, as well as show-stopping garments for the evening. Delicately crafted from various premium materials such as chiffon, cotton and satin, the sophisticated statement pieces are perfect for giving a lustrous and lightweight feel. Helping to strengthen the local economy and workforce, materials are sourced and produced locally to establish a sense of sustainability whilst maintaining a high degree of quality.
Aline Cara Luna, the CEO and Founder of Cara Luna, has been a major player in the modelling industry for a number of years, having dominated the runways in Milan and Paris and featured on the front cover of Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, Vogue, FHM, and Maxim. Aline is now applying her fashion industry knowledge to her own brand after studying economics in Switzerland and graduating from a highly-ranked business school with a Master of Arts.
Formerly exposed to the darkest side of modelling and the fashion industry, Aline is adamant about ensuring that Cara Luna is a safe space to enjoy the beauty of fashion. Having experienced firsthand the scandals and abuse that occurs within the modelling industry, Cara Luna has a mission to safeguard its consumers, models, photographers, and everyone involved in the process.
Placing itself at the forefront of Dubai’s luxury fashion scene, Cara Luna will divide its collections into themes rather than seasons, hoping to change the status quo that fashion is perishable, and can easily go “out of season”. Following the current debut collection, the next collection theme will showcase party dresses, with a Chanel 80’s tweed-inspired collection later this year.
