The iconic Gancini becomes a sculpted heel on the Elina sandal. Reworking of the archive and the brand’s style codes has generated new geometric profiles that breathe fresh life into the distinctive features of the Ferragamo DNA. Signature symmetry and structural harmony translated by Creative Director Maximilian Davis with linear precision.
The new Elina is a high-definition sandal. Fine strips of leather, folded and worked using the “book” technique, caress the foot and highlight its sensuality, the ultra-slim yet padded square toe guarantees maximum comfort, the elasticated front strap ensures perfect fit on the heel—these are the semantic elements of a model destined to become a Ferragamo must-have.
Presented on the runway for Spring Summer 2023, its spectacular design immediately made an impact thanks also to the use of full and empty space, light and shadow created by the unusual upper and gilded heel.
