Old Fashioned joins The Heritage olfactive family, a collection that is absolutely, uniquely KILIAN PARIS. From a 19th century Parisian café with Fievre Verte, to New York discovering the Big Apple in its chicest incarnation with Apple Blend on the Rocks. After a visit in the cellars of founder Kilian Hennessy’s childhood olfactive memories with the best- selling Angels’ Share, followed by a final cheer in the summer sunset with Roses on Ice, inspired by an “on the rocks” sensation with a splash of lime. Each scent in The Heritage collection evokes an unmistakable taste, place and time. Old Fashioned transports direct to the Scottish Highlands, fireside inside a family estate, layered with generations.
Created in collaboration with perfumer Sidonie Lancesseur, Kilian Hennessy wanted Old Fashioned to evoke only the purest, most excellent Scottish traditions. Unfolds in time just so, opening with wheat absolute and the slightly floral aspect of davana essence. Old Fashioned then leads into a complex of ultra-concentrated cedarwood essence and everlasting absolute, with long- lasting notes of styrax and tolu balm to suggest aging wood barrels and refinement with time.
Is a glass style like a short tumbler. The perfume Old Fashioned is served quite similarly, in a bottle liken to all in The Heritage collection: appearing like a weighted classic tumbler and chiselled with an abstract ‘K’ motif to reflect light at all angles. Refillable and available in both 50ml and 100ml sizes, Old Fashioned looks and feels in hand exactly like a moment of treating oneself to only the finest.
