Cecilie Bahnsen is excited to launch its Fall/Winter 2024 Collection, which focuses on clashing materials: high gloss leather against soft barely-there organza, shiny nylon paired with matte knits.
Titled “The Bite”, the collection features the brand’s classic silhouettes but shorter and more voluminous, while chunky cable knits overlay soft dresses, evoking a wintery ambience. Cropped, fitted leather jackets, skirts and dresses are crafted from high gloss leather infusing a darker romance into the collection, while staying true to the signature feminine aesthetic. The color palette evolves from dark and moody to ethereal whites and greys, with hints of indigo denim and rich navy.
The collection reimagines fabrics through embroidery and laser cutting techniques yielding ever-blooming textures. Continuing collaborations with Mackintosh and ASICS introduce oversized coats and innovative sneakers, incorporating exaggerated floral motifs. While new collaborations with Diemme and ECCO Leather extend the brand’s universe, introducing hand-embroidered boots and premium leather.
Founder & Creative Director, Cecilie Bahnsen says:
“I wanted to explore new directions this season, evolving the codes of the brand through meaning and care, with a relentless dedication to creativity and beauty. Embracing a darker side of romance and interpreting a wider range of emotions, while remaining true to an unapologetic connection to femininity and craft.”
