Boucheron Jewelry . A New Vision for High Jewelry

The collection is inspired by Japanese ikebana. It also embraces the wabi-sabi philosophy. Choisne created six unique botanical compositions. Each piece freezes a moment of fleeting beauty. Light is the collection’s common thread. It fades from light to darkness. This suggests the natural cycle of life.
The Botanical Compositions
Composition N°6: Tulip and Eucalyptus
This piece highlights a tulip and eucalyptus. It conveys their delicate beauty with glass. Artisans used hand-fashioned borosilicate glass. The glass is drawn to an extreme fineness. A white gold dragonfly rests on the plants. Its wings use sapphire glass and mother-of-pearl.
How to Wear It: The eucalyptus becomes a brooch or hair jewel. The tulip transforms into a lovely brooch. The dragonfly can be worn as an earring.
Composition N°5: The Thistle

This piece captures the thistle’s wild beauty. Its flower heads are 3D-printed from resin. This was a first for High Jewelry. Artisans faced a difficult challenge. A new setting technique was devised. They hand-sewed 800 diamonds into the blooms. The beetle and stems are white gold. They are set with diamonds and white ceramic.
How to Wear It: The large thistle is a brooch or crossbody jewel. The small thistle becomes a double-finger ring. The beetle can be worn as a brooch.
Composition N°4: The Cyclamen
This work features a tour de force setting. Almost 700 diamonds are set in the petals. They form a stained-glass window of diamonds. The oat stalk is made of black-coated titanium. Its spikelets are also set with diamonds. Two insects inhabit this small ecosystem. A caterpillar is made of white gold. Its articulated body can arch or flatten. A butterfly has white gold and diamond wings.
How to Wear It: The cyclamens pivot into a bracelet or brooch. The oat stalk becomes a beautiful hair jewel. The caterpillar is a brooch. The butterfly sits in the hair.
Composition N°3: The Iris
Artisans explored different shades of black here. The iris petals mix matte and glossy finishes. Diamonds in white gold trace the flower’s lines. The wisteria was a challenge of weight. It combines ceramic, titanium, and aluminum. This keeps the total weight very light. A stag beetle sits at the composition’s base. Its body is titanium with white gold bands.
A New Chapter in Jewelry
