AURA SUNWEAR has been developed by Licensed Aesthetician, Karen Saab, as a result of her struggle to find products in the market for herself and her patients that offer daily sun protection, especially post-laser and cosmetic treatments. The first launch of the brand is the AURA UV Shields designed in 4 different styles, each in a unique color to suit every age and lifestyle. The UV Shields offer physical protection for the face and eyes, blocking 99% of UVA and UVB rays; and are comfortable to wear all day long. UV exposure is the #1 cause of premature ageing, skin diseases like cancers, as well as a variety of eye problems in the long run. Designed with convenience in mind, the UV Shield’s sweat wicking headband is worn around the forehead and the colorful reflective lens can be worn up like a visor, or down like a face shield to protect the eyes and face. This is all while giving full visibility, similar to wearing sunglasses. The heat resistant technology in the lens will even keep the face cool on hot days.
The Sporty styles feature a headband with an adjustable velcro closing at the back, and stronger hinges to ensure a firm, secure fit, even if worn while running, jumping and high intensity activities. While the Sporty Headbands were created with athletes in mind, the Classic Headbands were created with comfort and accessibility in mind.
