The House of Amouage introduces Opus XVI – Timber, the newest chapter in its revered Library Collection.
A fragrance born from the enduring strength of California’s giant sequoias and Oman’s sacred frankincense trees, Timber is an olfactory homage to permanence, profundity, and the timeless wisdom of nature.
Crafted by perfumer Alexis Grugeon under the vision of Renaud Salmon, Opus XVI opens with the luminosity of cypress, cardamom, and lavandin, before unfolding into the bracing depths of frankincense, juniper, and fir balsam. The finale grounds itself in Palo Santo, sandalwood, cedarwood, and patchouli, a lasting testament to nature’s resilience.
Presented in Amouage’s iconic khanjar flacon in Cashmere with artwork by Louise Mertens, Timber captures the majesty of towering trees tracing an eternal path through history.
Opus XVI – Timber has officially joined the House’s Library Collection and is now available at amouage.com, Amouage boutiques, and select retail partners worldwide.
