Organised by AlUla Moments and presented by Saudia Airlines, AlUla Skies Festival is a true ‘bucket list’ experience that has captured hearts since its debut, earning rave reviews as a mesmerising celebration of AlUla’s awe-inspiring landscapes.
AlUla Skies festival promises visitors a spectacle from every angle, inviting guests to explore AlUla’s stunning terrain from elevated vantage points, offering exhilarating experiences that perfectly embody the spirit of adventure.
Throughout its 10-day duration, hot-air balloons will offer spectacular flights over AlUla’s breathtaking scenery – an irresistible proposition for daring explorers and free-spirited travellers alike. And after the sun sets below the horizon, the festivities will continue with an array of captivating activities.
Alongside Hot Air balloons Glow Shows, guests can engage in captivating Stargazing and Astrophotography sessions at the Gharameel Nature Reserve and enjoy peaceful Meditation Under the Sky, or witness the beauty of nature through Night Hikes at Madakheel Reserve and Hidden Valley.
For food lovers, a premium Dining Experience Under the Stars will be introduced, featuring a delectable menu inspired by the sky, served in a picnic style amidst the oasis.
Visitors can also witness exciting drone shows, get their adrenaline pumping with the thrilling Night Giant Swing Experience and AlUla Stairway at Night, and pamper themselves at a Wellness Pop-Up Under the Stars, alongside many other activations. Music lovers too are in for a treat as the AlUla Skies Festival coincides with an exciting outdoor concert featuring top-tier headliner that will be announced soon.
Furthermore, AlUla Skies Festival will feature a Pop-Up Planetarium in support of the highly anticipated Manara Observatory – giving visitors an exclusive preview of AlUla’s potential as a celebrated astro-tourism destination. The Planetarium will offer visitors an immersive experience that captures the wonder and awe of the dark night sky and astronomy. The Manara Observatory collaborates with local partners and international institutions to develop and accelerate its journey towards becoming a centre for world-class astronomical observation.
