Acqua di Parma embarks on a journey to the Dolomites with its 2025 Holiday Collection, drawing design inspiration from the beauty of Mount Antelao, one of the region’s most prominent and distinctive peaks. The collection embodies the character of the Italian mountains, where authentic craftsmanship meets the serenity and beauty of nature.
Behind the creative vision for this collection is the architect and designer Cristina Celestino, who presented an artistic vision that reinvents traditional Alpine-inspired motifs, such as hammered textures, glossy crackles, and polished golden accents. These techniques, historically used in wood and metal craftsmanship, are now translated into the world of ceramic, granting each piece a character that blends authenticity with modern artistic expression. The choice of ceramic, inspired by the traditional $Stube$ (a typical Alpine stove) made from this material, serves as a distinctive embodiment of Acqua di Parma’s reinterpretation of Italian craftsmanship with a new, innovative perspective.
The mountain chalet captures the collection’s identity and warmth—an elegant home embracing the holiday spirit, where cozy gatherings and the splendor of celebratory moments converge in an experience that expresses authentic Italian luxury and conviviality.
The collection features limited-edition masterpieces that embody the beauty of the Dolomites and the spirit of authentic mountain craftsmanship. The refillable perfume bottles are crafted from glossy ceramic in mountain-inspired hues: Blu Fedaia, Verde Cembro, Rosso Tovel, Giallo Cima, and Bianco Dolomia, with each color symbolizing a component of the Dolomite landscape. Traditional metal and wood craftsmanship touches are added through decorative elements and stained wooden caps.
The collection includes candles and diffusers with seasonal scents like Bosco, Panettone, and the new fragrance Torrone. They are housed in polished ceramic vessels with artisanal engravings and feature engraved wooden lids that can double as display coasters. The Torrone fragrance features notes of toasted pistachio, sesame, and creamy nougat, while Bosco evokes the scent of coniferous forests, and Panettone captures the Italian dessert’s flavor with citrus and vanilla notes. The mountain holiday season advent calendar, handcrafted in Italy, is a testament to quiet luxury, transforming the Maison’s iconic box into a unique piece of art. The calendar is made from white bouclé fabric with a calf leather lining and opens to reveal a curated selection of exclusive gifts, stored within natural fabric pockets and light brown leather covers, adorned with yellow stitching and carefully engraved details.
The mountain chess set reinterprets the classic game with sophisticated Italian craftsmanship. The board, made from Canaletto walnut and cherry wood, also serves as the lid for a padded box containing 32 hand-carved chess pieces—some painted in Acqua di Parma’s signature yellow, and others crafted from natural cherry and pear wood. Wood mosaic details, precise finishing, and the ingenious concealment of fragrance vials inside the King, Queen, and Bishop pieces add an artistic touch that merges elegance and innovation.
