For Amouage’s Essences Collection, time is not a mere backdrop—it is the very soul of the craft. Under the vision of Renaud Salmon, Chief Creative Officer, the collection transcends traditional perfumery to explore how time weaves itself into the fabric of our world. With the second trilogy, Salmon delves into the intersection of physics and geometry, viewing time as a structural force that defines our reality. This vision takes shape through three fundamental concepts: the line, the dot, and the circle.
Line 618: The Scent of Infinity Representing hope and the unyielding path forward, the “line” evokes a journey without end. To translate this architectural concept into scent, Amouage collaborated with master perfumer Nathalie Lorson. The result is Line 618, an olfactive tribute to the Golden Ratio. Much like the mathematical constant it is named after, the fragrance embodies perfect proportion and a clear-sighted progression toward the infinite.
