The inspiration for Lewis James comes from my love for timeless elegance and the traditional English gentleman’s style, reimagined for the modern world. I’ve always admired clothing that’s understated yet sophisticated, pieces that make a statement without shouting. My goal was to create a brand that marries classic refinement with contemporary functionality—fashion that speaks to the modern explorer who values quality, versatility, and individuality. The idea for our smart swim shorts, for instance, came from identifying a gap in the market for swimwear that transitions seamlessly from the pool to a restaurant, embodying both style and practicality.
