JW Anderson is thrilled to present its Women’s Spring/Summer 2025 Collection, which sets strict boundaries as an act of liberation, reducing the material of clothing to its essence.
From these restrictions emerges a fresh take on modern elegance. The design aesthetic shifts between macro and micro scales, balancing precision with a sense of undone ease. Knit stitches are magnified into giant weaves, bows inflate to dramatic proportions, and asymmetry defines skirts and dresses. A blanket is draped into a dress, while a perfectly round skirt is suspended to float.
Surface treatment and embellishment add depth to the collection. Lace runs down the V of architectural flappers. An essay on design is printed on a sheath dress or sliced and mixed with argyle on a top. In a time warp of sorts, allover argyle motifs flash back to early JW Anderson collections.
The brand collection is an exploration of how restraint can yield creativity, transforming limited materials into a diverse wardrobe.
