The new Sergio Rossi Fall Winter 2024 collection takes inspiration from the refined and elegant world of horse riding, an imaginative journey that starts from the origins of side-saddle riding, born in Italy in the 1300s at the court of Mantua.
The majesty of the horse combines with the innate elegance of the horsewoman, telling the story of an independent and feminine woman, free from conventions and naturally endowed with an engaging charm.
The concept of horseback riding inspires the aesthetic standards of the Fall Winter 24 proposal: for this season, the Brand starts from the study of the horse’s saddles and harnesses details, where craftsmanship meets refined materials and fine finishes, with a clear reference to the company’s Heritage.
A refined range of silhouettes redefines the elegance of the models offered, designed to accompany the Sergio Rossi woman at any time, from day to night.
The sr Nora family is reinterpreted according to the concept of the Italian saddlery tradition. The linear design and rounded lines enriched by the iconic buckle characterize the over-the-knee boots, moccasins and timeless riding boots with undisputed charm.
Rounded toes and soft lines are also for the sr Pilier world, where super feminine ballet flats and mary-janes sit alongside stretch booties and to-the-knee boots with slender shafts and stirrup detail. All models are characterized by the emblematic plectrum-shaped sculptured heel, a subtle reference to the world of music that has always been linked to the most elite riding, such as dressage.
The brand new sr Arc structure features sinuous lines and important volumes, revisiting the concept of the Rodeo and its aesthetic canons. The absolute protagonist is the banana heel – inspired by the rounded heels of Texans but revisited in a super feminine and modern stiletto version. In this family we find the pump and the ballerina with “a sacchetto” workmanship that seems to wrap the foot and the boot with a flared shape that hides a skillful technical design, making it a design object.
Also present this season is the iconic sr Mermaid family, as sandal, pump, bootie, boot and over- the-knee boot. The distinctive laser processing gives life to bands and inlays, playing with textures and volumes. New in for the season the proposal with super feminine black mesh details.
Finally, the new sr Godiva Precious, where the distinctive crystal buckle changes shape in a mix and match of pearls and crystals, perfectly following the tip of the ballet flats, pumps and slingbacks on which it is applied.
The color palette captures the essence of the season. The timeless black together with wine and the tones of leather and tobacco refer to the world of horse riding. We find accents of white and silver for the Rodeo world, alongside the brighter Buganvilia and Dusk which re-color the sr Mermaid and sr Godiva Precious families.
