The Dubai-based contemporary luxury brand for conceptual ready-to-wear fashion Pearla’s exclusive Ramadan collection ‘Salam’ is now live. Pearla has also collaborated with Tiffany & Co. to complete the look for their exquisitely designed kaftans, dresses, jalabiyas, and more.
The brand’s latest collection carries the message of love and peace for the world – depicted through free-flying birds to reflect the beauty of the Pearla woman. The birds symbolise a journey of light, companionship, and peace.
Pearla chose Tiffany & Co.’s ‘Knot’ collection to go with its signature items because the jewellery pieces’ entwined ends form a knot that symbolise the power of connections between people. This is also the message of Ramadan and the latest Pearla collection.
Showcasing a great variety of luxury designs and a beautiful colour palate to match, Pearla designers create their very own signature illustrations and unique prints on fabrics. For this splendid collection, the designers crafted 28 eye-catching and gorgeous designs using textiles such as cotton, crumble, silk, and metallic fabrics. The Salam collection utilises unforgettable details on the outfits such as feathers, and highlights the founders’ love of the arts and beauty.
Pearla designers Hessa and Fatma AlJoker said, “We are very proud of how far Pearla has come in such a short time. The brand has received a warm welcome with each consecutive collection and our customers really enjoy the style and versatility of the pieces that are crafted. The Salam collection for Ramadan is just as beautiful and commemorate the freedom and beauty associated with birds, flowers, and the arts. The brand has collaborated with Tiffany & Co. to complete its look and we are confident that we will receive a resounding response this time around as well. Jewellery and statement pieces add a glamourous touch to an outfit and with Tiffany & Co., we showcase which statement pieces would look perfect with an ensemble.”
The ‘Salam’ collection also offers a purposeful message through the use of the five senses of sight, hearing, taste, touch, and smell and showcase how we endeavour to reach ourselves by testing these senses during the month of Ramadan.
Pearla became the first Emirati brand to choose Expo 2020 to be their photoshoot site. The shoot was conducted within the ‘wordless’ Austrian pavilion which makes the best use of five senses of sight, touch, smell, hearing and taste, and highlight Pearla’s message for the holy month of Ramadan. The pavilion’s cones are inspired by the Arabian wind towers and Pearla utilised Moroccan carpets from the Moroccan pavilion at Expo 2020 to offer a thought-provokingly cultural influence.
